Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Silverline Systems is a Atlanta food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 10 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
