Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Foxglove Thistle Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Atlanta plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
