Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Silverline Meadow Manufacturing is a Atlanta manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 911 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
