Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Lumen West Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 797 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
