Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Amberfield North Auto Group is a Atlanta company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
