Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Cedar Yarrow Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
