Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Greenridge Sparrow Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Atlanta region, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
