Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Pine Construction and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
