Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Anchorage, AK)

Westbrook Cross Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Anchorage with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
