Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Anchorage, AK)

Silverline Cobalt Auto Group is a Anchorage company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 377 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
