Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Albuquerque, NM)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Orchard Freight Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
