Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Wichita, KS)

Bright Orchard Inspection Services is an inspection company in Wichita with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
