Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Virginia Beach, VA)

Stonegate Pike Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Virginia Beach plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
