Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Tampa, FL)

Summit Pike Manufacturing makes precision components in Tampa, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
