Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Savannah, GA)

Redstone Ember Markets is a Savannah retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 571 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
