Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Quarry Freight and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
