Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Bright Forge Environmental Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
