Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (San Jose, CA)

Summit North Construction Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits.
