Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath West Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around San Jose, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
