Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (San Diego, CA)

Northwind Linden Foods produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
