Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Glen Environmental Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
