Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Salt Lake City, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
