Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

Silverline Ivory Freight is a Salt Lake City logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
