Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Glen Foods Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 792 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
