Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Vista Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
