Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Orchard Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Sacramento. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
