Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Thistle Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Sacramento plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
