Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Sacramento, CA)

Greenridge Birch Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Sacramento with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
