Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Richmond, VA)

Nova Works is a Richmond retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 4 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
