Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Redstone Yarrow Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Des Moines plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 920 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
