Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Fernwood Linden Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Savannah. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
