Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Fernwood Pike Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Buffalo region, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for materials orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
