Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Ironwood Clear Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across San Diego, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
