Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Amberfield Corner Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
