Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Northwind Meridian Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near San Jose. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
