Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Summit Thistle Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Virginia Beach, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for materials orders. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
