Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Westbrook Cobalt Construction is a New Orleans contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for permits. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
