Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Northwind Meridian Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Providence, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field records. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
