Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Redstone Kestrel Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Boston plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
