Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Greenridge Timber Construction Group is a Buffalo contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
