Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Fernwood Umber Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around St. Louis, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
