Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Raleigh, NC)

Greenridge Beacon Press is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
