Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Lumen Pine Press and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 187 people based in Providence. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
