Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Union Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 181 people based in Providence. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
