Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Harbor Telecom is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
