Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Beacon Press Partners and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 852 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
