Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind Kestrel Construction is a Philadelphia contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
