Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Redstone Beacon Manufacturing and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 157 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
