Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Cedar Yarrow Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
