Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Oakland, CA)

Redstone Thistle Construction Group is a Oakland contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
